Belle had a very busy month. With the onset of summer in the Okanagan, Belle was introduced to her swimming pool, which she loves. She had her first steps on a sandy beach, and she dipped her paws into Okanagan Lake for the first time.

Belle attended a dance performance at the Community Theatre, where she remained quiet even though there were many new sounds around her.

Belle went to a high school football jamboree. There was much activity around her, but she was more interested in being fed.

In the middle of June, Belle went on a road trip to Calgary. There were many new places to explore along the way, including a stroll through the Enchanted Forest, which was very enchanting for Belle. While in Calgary, Belle stayed in a new home, visited new stores and a hotel. The main event was a professional football game. Due to the morning’s very inclement weather, the crowd was unusually small, but again, there were many new experiences for Belle. Her greatest achievement was making it to and from the seats without being tempted by the garbage along the way.

Belle ended her month with an outing to the movies. That popcorn on the floor smelled SO good, but Belle made it out without a single taste!
