With the start of school, Belle’s old routine has returned; she gets to go to school to pick up the children and, on some days, takes them to their after-school activities. At school, she encounters many children and adults, as well as occasionally a dog. She enjoys these outings and is always happy to see the children.
One of the youths in Belle’s life is learning to drive, so she went on several car rides with us this month.
Belle continues to do well with her training exercises. This month, she sometimes did the training outside at dog parks, which was challenging at times. She is learning to ignore the other dogs and focus on what she is doing.
Belle spent a weekend with a new sitter, where she encountered a new home and a new dog. Her big excitement this month was seeing a horse for the first time.
