Pupdate followers! Big news! I got to spend a whole week with a sitter – who had another dog!!! At first, I was a bit sad that I wasn’t headed out to Invermere with my raiser, but when I realized I got to have a week-long pup playdate, I was thrilled!! And I did great! This is excellent, as I’m working on always remembering to be a good listener, even if there is another fur-friend around. So this was great practice for me.
The rest of July was also full of fun. We had some indoor days because of something the humans call ‘smoke’ – definitely a funny smell in the air. But that just gives me some good training time (and cuddles!) inside. I was out to celebrate Canada Day with my family when I ran into three other PADS volunteers during my outings this past month. I also met someone who participated in our recent Willow Park Charity Golf Classic while walking the aisles of Costco. She was amazing – not just because she helped support PADS and all the great pups like me… but because she loves Costco. 🙂
Finally, you’ll notice from my photos this month that I’ve been out doing a bit of shopping for myself. I’ve managed to purchase and figure out a few more food puzzles… nothing like a good kibble mystery to keep a dog thinking!
Until next month!
