September has been a busy month! It started with a sunny trail walk and a relaxing evening. My furrend PADS Donner II and I have been practicing our settling in preparation for this thing called school. September marked the beginning of my education at UBC. I attend lectures with my hooman and participate in fun events with my Campus Canine furrends!

This month, my hooman finished up her summer internship, which means I will no longer get to see my PADS Dad Steller in the office. Rest assured, the hoomans said they will make sure we still get to see each other. This month, I also went on my first road trip. We took an extended weekend and visited Whistler. I got to explore the village and some new trails. I have even taken up a liking for swimming.

The last day of the month, I attended UBC with 15 of my PADS furrends to recognize Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We provided a comforting presence for those who needed some extra support.
