December was such a fun month. I had the opportunity to volunteer at a party fundraiser for Youthlink in Calgary. Santa was there, and even the Grinch. I got to meet so many awesome kids, and even the mayor stopped by. It was so much fun.
There were lots of outings in December. I went to coffee shops, restaurants, the butcher shop, and even got to go to a bowling alley. I went to other homes, including a puppy sitter, where I got to spend a week, which was awesome because there was another dog there, so that was a treat. Plus, it’s good for me to be around other humans that aren’t the main ones I’m living with.
I also got to go to a pet store to try on booties because my poor little paws did not appreciate how cold the ground was when it got super cold in Calgary. But then it warmed up again, so I haven’t had to use the booties much.
Christmas was lots of fun. I was so curious about the Christmas tree. Can you imagine? There was an actual tree in the house, except I wasn’t allowed to touch it, or all the cool ornaments hanging off of it. And it was pretty neat opening presents, too. And so many visitors, too.
I’m working hard on different cues and perfecting the nap. All in all, it’s been a great month.
