Wow, I am just loving life. September was a very busy month. I keep working hard with my cues and really just love being with people.
There have been all sorts of outings this month. Of course, we went to the airport and farmers’ market. I’m learning to use the pet relief area at the airport. It’s tough though, cause there’s just so many smells there. But I’m figuring it out.
I also had time with puppy sitters when my raisers had to leave town for work. Of course, I loved these different people. Mostly because they all had dogs that I got to hang out with. My raisers said that after these experiences, my ability to chill and focus increased astronomically. I think those other dogs really taught me a few things by modelling some good behaviours for me to learn from.
Because of this, my raisers even tried me at a sit down restaurant. We went early just to make sure I didn’t disturb others, but my raisers say I was a rockstar.
Puppy school is fun too, even if I’m sometimes a bit vocal. It’s mostly because it’s so fun to see all the other dogs.
It’s hard work learning to be a service dog, but I really love it.
