Here’s to a paw-sitively great new year!

We spent time this month building our routine: training, settling, and kennelling at home, in public, and at the office.

Bryn loves to watch TV, so a mini-road trip to Merry & Bright at Martini Town movie studio was the perfect holiday outing. She walked nicely beside human, sat or lay quietly while they window-shopped, tried to identify some of the buildings from movies she’d seen, and even provided the photo for our holiday cards.

It was an exceptionally rainy month, but that didn’t stop her from meeting some of the PADS girls, Saphira and Daisy, Dot and Andie, for off-leash play. Finally, a bath was in order. Human’s preparation for an annoyed pup and a wet, muddy bathroom was all for not; Bryn loves a scratch and scrub and was content to let the warm water wash over her.

When we had had enough of the rain, we headed inside Ikea to meet PADS Puzzle. Bryn had a lovely engagement and loose-leash walking with her human. However, her greetings were too exuberant, so when people asked to say hello, we stepped back and let Puzzle show off his advanced skills.

In between outings, trainings, and holidays, we focused on sleep, lots of sleep. There is nothing sweeter than the sound of Bryn’s puppy snores (even when they’re loud enough to trigger giggles during a work call).
