Hi everypawdy!
June was bursting with new sniffs and waggy adventures! At the start of the month, I met some kittens for the very first time. At first, I was like, “hmm… what are these tiny, fluffy, squeaky things?” But after some careful tail-watching and snout-snoofing, I decided they’re actually pretty cute. I even let them play with my tail AND gave them some gentle kisses—because I’m a friendly boy like that!
Then guess what? My auntie from Toronto came to visit, and I finally got to meet her! My hoomom always says how much she loves animals, so I was extra excited. We went on lots of little outings together, and she always sat with me in the car—my favourite seat buddy!
I also went blueberry picking for the first time ever! Okay, okay, I didn’t exactly pick the berries (no thumbs), but I did go to the blueberry farm owned by my new furiends, Beansprout and Peashoot—what a berry fun pair! We visited almost every week, and I got to run around with my pals and snack on some delicious berries. Blueberries + furiends = the best combo ever!
Oh oh OH—BIG NEWS! I turned ONE this month! We had the most pawsome birthday bash where I reunited with my sisters—Mozza, Burgie, Teenie, and Patty. Even my grandpaw Cleat and great-grandma Izzy came to celebrate! My hoomans say my uncle Thresher looked just like grandpaw Cleat… I never got to meet him, but I bet he would’ve been a real funcle—we would’ve had epic tug-of-war battles!
We had a party in the morning (so many zoomies!), and then I got a BIRTHDAY CAKE at night! AND—get this—my hoomans got me the Costco dog toy set because I’m basically a regular there. AND they gave me my very own Executive Dog Membership card. Yep, I’m official.
To top it all off, I met my little cousin PADS Ritz this month. She may be small, but WOOF, she’s speedy! We played chase, and I let her win. (Okay, maybe she actually did win…)
Summer is turning out to be the bestest season ever. I can’t wait to see what fun comes next!
