Bumble is very energetic and silly, but he’s a trainable pup. He enjoys going out for walks and playing just like any other puppy his age. When we go out for walks, he loves exploring with not only his nose but his mouth. He likes to pick up sticks, rocks, and really anything that can fit into his mouth.
Bumble knows his name and sit, lay down, get up, gentle, chin, yes, and better go. His recall is good. We call him by his name first, and if that doesn’t work, we whistle two notes. Kisses and “puppy, puppy!” work too!
We have a 7-year-old orange tabby cat named Ebi at home, and Bumble always wants to play with him (although Ebi does not seem to enjoy it too much!).
Bumble likes sniffing and playing with other dogs. He’s not afraid of others (dogs, humans, or cats!) and always wants to say hi. If dogs bark at him, he may bark back.
He loves chewing his bone and playing tug with his rope toy. He enjoys chewing his leash even though we tell him not to and replace it with a chew toy.
He likes playing and swimming in either pools or lakes. He finds delight in chasing us around, and he enjoys being chased, too. Overall, Bumble is a very playful puppy that wants to have fun and also learn at the same time.
