Well, Summer is in full swing in the Okanagan and this month was once again full of new adventures.
I got to wander around a big car show with loud engines and lots of people. It was quite hot so the human made sure I had my cooling bandanna and lots of water breaks.
We had a final few playdates with my predecessor PADS Texas before he left for Advanced Training in Burnaby, I made sure to pay close attention to all his words of wisdom (in between trying to chew his ears…).
One of my biggest outings this month was tackling the behemoth known as “COSTCO”. Mum was super impressed with how well I handled the crowds and all the smells, I didn’t even try to sneak any samples while we wandered around.
The heatwave also depended on this month, driving our temperature up to puppy boiling levels! Luckily my humans have a swimming pool because Uncle Tiller and I spent a lot of time in there this month trying to keep cool. I am proud to say I am a true water dog, although it has taken me a bit of practice not to sink like a brick when I jump off the steps…
Well, that’s it for me this month, can’t wait to see what August brings!
