CamiloΒ is enjoying the new environment, his classmates, and the overall experience of advanced training. He loves interacting with his litter mates, PADS Alma and PADS Pepa. Camilo has proven to be a loving and fun companion, endearing himself to everyone around. We have begun laying the foundations for his training, focusing on aspects such as body movement, loose leash walking, chin cues, and other fundamentals that will guide us toward teaching him to retrieve.Β
During our first visit to IKEA, Camilo expressed his enthusiasm with three barks for attention. With gentle guidance, he quickly understood the need to refrain from such behavior, and it hasn’t resurfaced since. His journey also included a ride-along beside a scooter at Costco, where he took it all in stride in the bustling store. Additionally, he practiced his obedience at the mall, showcasing his adaptability to different environments. These first two weeks have primarily focused on assessment and helping him settle in as we gradually introduce new skills.
