It took a heatwave, but Campbell learned how to swim this month! He’s not a natural, but he has improved a lot and, whereas before he was hesitant even to wade, he now is very keen to go in the water. I think he has learned that it’s a great way to cool off when temperatures are high. He’s been doing lots of work on his leash skills in high distraction situations. There are lots of young animals this time of year, and he’s very tempted to sniff and give chase, so it’s been a great opportunity for him to practice staying focused and calm.
