Hi friends!
I had a fun month full of changes and adventures. IΒ started the month with my regular routine ofΒ going toΒ university classes with my raiser. IΒ Β also got to play with my sister PADS Lumina a few times! SheΒ is my favourite puppy to play with, and we had so much fun together. IΒ hope I get to see her again soon!
A few weeks into April, I had aΒ bigΒ schedule change. ClassesΒ endedΒ andΒ my raiser was studying for finals. I’mΒ not sure what finals are, but I’m glad I didn’t have toΒ go toΒ them! IΒ was an extra good boy settling in libraries, even when myΒ bestieΒ PADSΒ Taj, came with us.Β IΒ worked on my daytime kennelling a lot this monthΒ too, since I couldn’t go to exams with mom.Β
I participated in some Campus Canines eventsΒ too! IΒ went to a club social and settledΒ superΒ well under the restaurant table with my friends Taj, Calvin, and Wrigley. IΒ also did a collab photoshoot with the UBC men’s baseball team! IΒ wasΒ an amazingΒ model and got lots of pets and love from the team.Β
I met up with lots of my PADS puppy friends again this month. IΒ made a new friend, Dahlia, and we ran and played at the beach with Taj.Β IΒ also went on a short vacation with Taj,Β andΒ weΒ went toΒ a hugeΒ tulip field!Β OurΒ raisers made us pose for so many pictures.Β
I’ve been working hard at learning new cues and skills this month. SomeΒ new cues I started learning are “touch“,Β “chin“,Β “here“,Β and “go in“.Β Β I’mΒ a quick learner,Β andΒ IΒ love learning, especially when kibble is involved!Β
At the end of the month, I celebrated my half-birthday! CanΒ you believe I’m alreadyΒ 6Β months old? ItΒ happened to be on the same day as puppy class, so IΒ got to celebrateΒ with loads of puppy friends. IΒ even got a half cake for my half birthday! ItΒ was delicious, and my buddies and I devoured it.Β
Mom says, “There are a lot of new adventures coming inΒ May” so stay tuned for my pupdate next month!Β
