Hi friends!
I had a fun month full of changes and adventures. I started the month with my regular routine of going to university classes with my raiser. I also got to play with my sister PADS Lumina a few times! She is my favourite puppy to play with, and we had so much fun together. I hope I get to see her again soon!
A few weeks into April, I had a big schedule change. Classes ended and my raiser was studying for finals. I’m not sure what finals are, but I’m glad I didn’t have to go to them! I was an extra good boy settling in libraries, even when my bestie PADS Taj, came with us. I worked on my daytime kennelling a lot this month too, since I couldn’t go to exams with mom.
I participated in some Campus Canines events too! I went to a club social and settled super well under the restaurant table with my friends Taj, Calvin, and Wrigley. I also did a collab photoshoot with the UBC men’s baseball team! I was an amazing model and got lots of pets and love from the team.
I met up with lots of my PADS puppy friends again this month. I made a new friend, Dahlia, and we ran and played at the beach with Taj. I also went on a short vacation with Taj, and we went to a huge tulip field! Our raisers made us pose for so many pictures.
I’ve been working hard at learning new cues and skills this month. Some new cues I started learning are “touch“, “chin“, “here“, and “go in“. I’m a quick learner, and I love learning, especially when kibble is involved!
At the end of the month, I celebrated my half-birthday! Can you believe I’m already 6 months old? It happened to be on the same day as puppy class, so I got to celebrate with loads of puppy friends. I even got a half cake for my half birthday! It was delicious, and my buddies and I devoured it.
Mom says, “There are a lot of new adventures coming in May” so stay tuned for my pupdate next month!
