Hi friends!
I spent the first half of the month with a sitter while my human was away on vacation. I then came home and was so excited to see her! My human also brought back little PADS Gaffer with her, and we got to reunite! I was happy to see my favourite mentee again. We got to have one last sleepover together before he left on his next adventure.
Then, my human and I started her new program at university! We didn’t think I’d be back at UBC this year, but since I’m a breeding dog now, I get to stay longer and pursue some more higher education with my human! I have been a very good study buddy so far. I settled very well and behaved myself for the very long days of orientation week. I slept through so many lectures and met so many new friends!
I also went on some fun trail walks to decompress after long days of settling. I love sniffing on the trails and practicing my “perch” and “jump on” cues.
At the end of the month, I got to go to a sunflower festival! I posed beautifully for the humans to take countless photos of me. I may have zoomied when the flowers tickled me, but then I composed myself and was a good boy following my human through the flower fields. I also met some goats, pigs, and chickens! They weren’t too interested in being my friends, unfortunately, but I loved watching them. We had a great day at the sunflower festival!
See you next month!
