Hi friends!

At the start of this month, I went to a few Campus Canines UBC events. I went to two engagement events where I met lots of students who were so happy to see me. I also met up with my PADS puppy friends Taj, Wrigley, Calvin, and my aunt Parker to go on a walk with student photographers at UBC. We were on our best behaviour and smiled for the cameras! They got some cute pictures of us.

I also went to puppy classes and worked on lots of new skills with my puppy friends. Among other things, I worked on going to my bed, coming to mom, sitting, waiting at doorways, walking with a loose leash, and putting on my cape! I have also loved working on my recall on off-leash trails.

Mom dressed me up in funny outfits for Valentine’s Day. She said I looked really adorable and insisted on taking loads of pictures of me. What can I say? I’m just too cute.

I also went to the beach for the first time this month! I met up with Taj and Calvin to go play on an off-leash beach. I really enjoyed playing with them on the sand and big logs. I was also very brave and walked into the ocean! It was very fun to splash around. Overall it was a great experience and I hope we go back soon!

Later in the month, I went to Whistler with mom! I did super well on the long drive. I had a sleepover with some wonderful sitters and got to meet a new dog friend, Brass, who is a retired PADS dog. Then, mom picked me up and I spent a few days in Whistler with her. I stayed in a hotel for the first time and didn’t mind it at all! I also did my longest daytime kennelling session yet while the humans were on the mountain. I settled super well in restaurants and worked on walking nicely and staying calm around other dogs and children running around. It was a lot of fun.

Throughout the month, I’ve been going to university lectures with mom and I’ve gotten so good at settling. I also worked a lot on riding the bus, and I’m happy to report it’s going well.

I’m excited to see what March brings!
