Hi friends!

I have had a fun and busy month!

I got to go on an airplane again this month when my raiser and I took a long-weekend trip for Thanksgiving. I had a great time on our trip and got to hang out with my puppy friend, Koda.

To get into the spooky season spirit, my bestie Taj and I put on our ghost costumes while our raisers took tons of photos of us! We were the cutest ghosts ever!

I have been going to classes with my raiser again this month, and I’ve been enjoying walking on more and more crunchy leaves every day. I think my toasty colour matches the fall colours perfectly! I continue to be the bestest boy in class and settle super well during all the lectures.

I went on some fun fall outings with my puppy friends this month. Ivy, Calvin, and I explored a pumpkin patch together, where we saw horses and goats for the first time! I thought the horses were super cool, but the humans said we had to give them space, so I got lots of treatos for just watching them walk by. I also went to the Dagerpaatch event later in the month with lots of other PADS dogs. I worked on doing some calm greetings and posed for lots of pictures.

October 22nd was my first birthday!! I’ve grown up so fast! I had a great birthday full of lots of love from the humans, some awesome gifts, dog cupcakes, and running around with friends on the trails.

For Halloween, I dressed up as a lion! I wore my costume to puppy class, the campus canines UBC Halloween party, and to my lectures on Halloween. We did lots of training to condition me to wear my mane, and I grew to love it!

Another fun Halloween thing was finding Casper pumpkins! My litter’s name theme is pumpkin varieties, so my raiser was on the lookout for some Casper pumpkins. And we found some! Turns out they’re little, just like me! My raiser and her friends had lots of fun carving the white Casper pumpkins and some bigger orange ones.  My raiser even carved a pumpkin to look like me!

October was so much fun and I had a great time on all my Halloween/fall outings!
