This month, I have been loyally accompanying my human to her lectures. I’m a pro-settler and have befriended all of my human classmates. I’m really enjoying our new routine.

We started classes in August, but all my Campus Canines UBC friends started in September, so I got to reunite with all my besties! I was part of lots of club events this month as well. I went to Imagine Day, where I greeted lots of people and recruited them to join the club. I looooved all the attention. I also attended Nest Fest, where I got to greet lots of alumni who were visiting UBC for homecoming. I even got pet by the Thunderbird mascot!! I also helped represent Campus Canines at the AMS Clubs Fair, where I, once again, got to say hi to loads of people. All these recruitment events were fantastic opportunities to practice being calm while people pet me and settling around my puppy friends. I also went to two Campus Canines general meetings, which were lots of fun.

Outside of my responsibilities as bestest study buddy and cutest club representative, I have had lots of fun outings to decompress and let out my energy. I love to go on off-leash walks in the trails! My human has recently started taking me on bike rides on the trails. I’m not quite used to the quicker pace I have to maintain to stay close to her. I prefer to dilly dally and sniff everything while my human waits for me, hahaha. But I’m getting the hang of it and loved it once I realized I can do some super fast sprints as she bikes!

I went on lots of public outings this month and am always a good boy. I went to restaurants a few times with my buddy Blanco, and we settled beautifully under the tables while our humans ate!

To wrap up the month, I participated in Orange Shirt Day at UBC. I walked with lots of other PADS pups and got to greet many people.

See you all next month!
