October started off with lovely mild weather, which paired perfectly with a couple of forest walks with Cela’s pals. Then by the second week of October, Cela was well into her first heat cycle. This meant we had to pivot and adjust activities indoors, so we worked on lots of training, which helped to refine Cela’s ‘puppy pushups’ – transitioning between sit, stand, and downs. We also worked on getting her ‘heel’ and side’ on cue! Lastly, we worked on Cela’s uncanny ability to make ‘derp’ faces, played with AI to make some movie posters, and dressed up in Halloween costumes, even though she had to miss her party. She’s such a good sport!
