We started the month with a super fun Blue Rodeo outdoor concert where Cela was handled by another raiser and was fantastic. We travelled to Bowen Island for a few days and Cela settled well in a home with other dogs. I then travelled for a few days and Cela spent time with a sitter and their new puppy, which caused some chaos, so she moved to another sitter where things were a little quieter before I returned.
I was extremely impressed as Cela was able to amuse herself, settle, and remain low-key for a week as I recovered from an illness, and then to keep me on my toes, she decided to ingest one of her fleece tug toys, so we rounded out the month with a trip to the vet!! Despite that, sheโs advancing well in her cues and she continues to charm all the folks she meets.
