Hello again! I’m still working hard at becoming a service dog, but I enjoy training and being out, so it’s like I’m hardly working! I went to work with Jen a lot and am getting better at settling under the desk. In addition to our usual outings, we went to a busy pub, and I attended some appointments with Jen and was a very good girl. I had a couple of play dates with PADS Maren and some other friends, and I love running and being chased. You would never know I had a broken leg a few months ago. I especially enjoy playing in the snow, but the process of putting my boots on in order to go out on cold, snowy days is not fun. One of my new favourite indoor activities is watching other dogs do agility on TV!
From a training perspective, I am learning “sit”, “stand” and “down” with proper mechanics. I know how to do them, but learning the verbal cues is hard! I am coming to enjoy having my teeth brushed and nails clipped as there are lots of treats involved!
