It is new world of dog training with Covid-19.Β We are working on skills at home, in the park and parkade below our townhome.Β The street in front of my house is under construction.Β There are cranes and construction machinery and large dump trucks outside constantly working on new water mains (and driving me nuts!)Β Cleat and I train outside, upping our work on basic skills.Β He is not phased by the noise at all!Β
He enjoys playing with our pet dog, Finnegan.Β This month we have been working on having Cleat go lie on his dog bed when he hears the doorbell ring.Β It is more successful when someone comes to the door and helps with his training by ringing the doorbell a few times, because he is so smart, he knows the difference between the real doorbell and the one on my phone App!
