August saw a return to in-person puppy classes much to Cliff’s delight. He enjoys interacting with his other human and dog friends while learning new things. He has a good understanding of leash-guided sit, down, and stand and is currently working on increasing the duration of these positions. Cliff has enjoyed a number of adventure walks this month, along with his buddy Slick. There are so many exciting things to see and smell in our neighbourhood! The hot weather has also provided a good opportunity to relax in the shade of the backyard while munching on snacks of kibble and the occasional fresh fruit treat. Cliff took a day trip out of town to see my parents. They have so many interesting things to explore and some fun doggie neighbours to sniff through the fence. The drive is never a problem for him as he falls asleep the minute the car starts moving. Other outings included trips to the grocery store, Starbucks and Dairy Queen.Β
