This month, Crumpet worked on some valuable skills, including moving into leash pressure. She is a dog that likes to move away during certain situations and is learning that there are better ways to deal with emotions. She is picking this up, but her default can still be to move away. In addition to this, we are working on hind limb movements on a perch pot. She loves perch, and she has been enjoying adding some movement to this.

We went on a few public outings and Crumpet showed that she is comfortable in these situations. At home, we have been working on settling without a toy or bone available. She is much more comfortable when she is able to carry an object and is learning to be a confident girl without her safety toy.

Bonus Pupdate: This month, I started raising Crumpet! She loves playing with her new friend Birch (not a PADS dog) and is settling in well with office life! She will rest quietly on her bed all day and minds her own business.

She does well with maintaining her composure when there are other distractions around her like dogs, kids, and people. We are working on loose leash walking, and sitting for a long period of time.
