After an adventurous June, filled with travel, airplanes and new friends, DeeDee had a relatively low key July. Partly, this was because DeeDee had her first heat. During this time, we avoided our regular off leash trails and the dog park – she certainly missed her doggie friends. Later in the month, we kept a low profile to avoid the high temperatures and instead spent our staying cool inside and eating popsicles (special kong treats just for DeeDee). We are looking forward to a cooler August and getting back to our regular public training, dog park visits and trail walks.
