This month, DeeDee explored the local trails, restaurants and shops. She continues to progress nicely and is learning to ignore distractions. Ignoring other people comes easily. Dogs, on the other hand, are a bit of a struggle. Fortunately, we had the help of a local puppy sitter to let DeeDee experience living with another dog for 1 week and work on her socialization. DeeDee has enjoyed learning new skills like “chin” and “bed” while improving her existing skills like “stand” and “down.” She is always eager and excited to work but finds it easy to wind down and snuggle up in front of the fire at the end of the day.
