Hi, it’s Derby here. Wow! August was a great month for me (minus the smoke)! I spent the first two weeks at the cabin with my sitter, Bev. We walked lots, and I got to swim in the lake every day! I saw so many little animal friends and enjoyed watching them walk by, sometimes, run by. I was extremely well behaved, and they really didn’t know what I was doing–most dogs chase them, but not me! I would just watch them and wag my tail. The last two weeks of August meant returning to Calgary because Bev had to go back to work. What a treat! I got to go to work with Bev for the first three days. I love getting dressing in my vest and being such a good listener. August was a great month filled with lots of activities and events.
