As this month was quite warm, Derby and I spent a fair amount of time downtown. We worked hard on moving away from and around distracting smells. This also gave Derby the ability to get used to different sounds, including loud cars, other people, and emergency vehicles. She excelled the entire time and impressed me with her ability to maintain focus.
Derby also went to see one of her favourite people this month. She went to have a visit with Calgary’s Advanced Trainer, Miranda. She enjoyed her stay there as that is where she grew up.
To top off this month, Derby also saw her sister Aggie! It had been so long since the two of them played together, so it was enjoyable watching them interact with one another. Hopefully, they can have another play together soon!
