Spring has sprung on the Calgary side of the Rockies, and the whole advanced dog crew is very pleased to be taking advantage of the warmer weather and enjoying outings to our local parks and pathways. In this new season,ย Derbyย is focusing on learning new skills like โtugโ, carrying objects and closing doors. She is proving how much she loves to learn and is enthusiastically picking up her skills!
- Skills being learned:ย Retrieving, tug, carrying objects, wheelchair skills
- Recent field trips:ย Off-leash parks, Sunridge Mall, Petland
- Possible behavior challenges:ย She can be concerned about fast-moving people closing space on her and isnโt completely comfortable with body handling
