This month was relaxing for Derby.Β She got spayed so she spent her time healing.Β
When she was feeling better though, we worked on small tasks like sit, down, heel, and side. This way we could keep up with training without over-exerting her.Β Once she was fully recovered, we got back to our normal routine and she was happy she could go and play with other dogs.
We also went trick-or-treating this Halloween.Β Derby was a hot dog!Β She didn’t mind being in her costume and was happy to be out walking around and getting treats herself.
