DERVISH is the calming presence in the kennel, the lone boy amongst all the girls in the kennel! Donβt worry, he quickly made friends with all the ladies and particularly enjoys spending time with Lotus, his kennel mate. Dervish is a steady boy out in public. We are working through some dog and ball distraction and are hoping to be able to run Dervishβs pre-placement testing in the next two months. We are excited to see what the future has in store for this charming fellow!
- Skills being learned: Capping games for over arousal, basic obedience adding durations and varying distractions, recalling off high distractions
- Recent field trips: Warner Loat off leash park, Costco, IKEA, New West Quay, Lougheed Mall, 6th & 6th New West
- Possible behavior challenges: Ball drive, dog distraction, difficulty recalling off high distractions
