Hi Readers,
Well, we did get a little bit of cold and snow here in the Okanagan in January, but it still seemed pretty nice to me to be able to get out in the sunshine most of the time. I’m still doing lots of recall training in my yard and “Perch” and “Heel” and “Side” and lotsa other stuff in the house. My people have also been taking me to a dog park when no other pooches are there so I can just sniff around. I can spend half an hour sniffing without even looking up or seeing where the folks are. They say maybe I’ll grow up to be a sniffer dog, like at the border or in airports or even with the police. I don’t know if they are just teasing me, though.
We’ve also been going out a lot to Costco, Walmart and the mattress store for my new bed. It’s going to be very, very comfy! At Walmart, I saw this blondish girl dog, but she did not respond to me, even when I sniffed her ear. I would have liked her to visit me at the Kissing Booth at the pet store for Valentine’s Day.
So it’s been a pretty busy month for me, and my peeps say it’s my birthday next month. I will be one year old. I’ll let you know if I get presents.
