Hey Everybody,

Did you know that we had a Canada Day sellybration at our house? Lotsa people came. My friend, PADS Tzar, sent me a really neat picture of him wearing a Deely Bob thing with Canadian flags that fit on his head. My peeps did not have one, but not to be outdone, they improvised with stoopid little sticks. Sheesh, what I don’t have to put up with! It only lasted long enough for a picture to send back to PADS Tzar. He laughed at me. We also went to the Farm Market to get yummy corn on the cob, but once again, I didn’t get any.

It’s been very hot here, but we still go golfing… my raisers say that I am hogging the cart. Golly, what’s a guy supposed to do? I get lots of water, and they dump a bottle on my head when it’s really hot. Then I shake, and it feels cool. We went to a new place too, called Black Mountain.

We’ve been working on lots of training things, especially recalls at the Park. I run really fast to get a chunk of apple. I also sit nicely at the Library, where my people go a lot, but those little humans have still not learned any manners like me. I can sit still for a real long time.

I also got a new collar because my raisers said I destroyed my old one with dirt from playing with the other pups. But I’m a boy puppy and love to wrestle in the dirt with my friends, so what can you expect?

Life is never dull in the Okanagan. I’ll let you know what happens next month.
