Hi Everybody,
October has been such a busy month for this pupper.
First we had a visit from a University room mate of my person. They had not seen each other for 30 years! Whoa, that is a long, long time. So we had to show him the sights. We went to some great local wineries, that had special displays and carvings. We went everywhere – all around Kelowna, including the farm market where they were getting ready for Pumpkin Day and Halloween.
When we took him to the Airport to fly home, I saw a really neat stone thingy, my peeps said sculpture, of a returning soldier and his little boy. My person said maybe I could get a job helping a veteran like that. And that brings me to my most exciting news. I am going to Pupversity!
I will be leaving my peeps to head off on a new adventure, learning to be an Assistance Dog. They are both very happy and very sad that I am going but they said that is why we worked so hard at puppy class and every day, learning all those cues and behaviours, so that I can have a chance to be an Assistance Dog. We have been visiting all my friends, little humans and my puppy friends at the dog park and also my friend PADS Tzar, so I can say goodbye to them.
And I need to tell you, we almost won the World Series!
Lotsa tears and lotsa hugs, my people will miss me every single day but I want to make them proud of me. We have been through so much together and I will miss them too, but I promised to keep them posted on how I am doing.
My advanced sitter will keep you posted too!
