July was another busy month for me, with lots of firsts!
I have been on lots of walks practicing my loose leash walking. On a couple of those walks, I saw different animals, once a deer and more often these big birds. My raiser calls them Canada geese. I’m curious about them, but I watch from far away. I stay calm and get rewarded with treats!
We have been to family BBQs where I was introduced to golf. I thought the little white ball would be fun to play with, but I did my best to ignore it.
It was a rainy month here, so I went to the mall for the first time. I wasn’t bothered by the busyness or the slippery floors. I even went on my first elevator ride. Not a problem for this guy!
I also had some fun with my fellow PADS friends. We met at an off-leash park, which was my first one, and I did my best to keep up with the bigger dogs. When I got tired, I just walked with my raiser and the other two-legged people. We had released PADS Augusta, come stay for a day, and I had a sleepover with PADS Risq. She was so much fun to play with. Released PADS Aggie was also there, and I tried really hard to make friends with her!
I am doing some work too. I’m learning ‘chin’, and I continue to work on my loose-leash walking a lot, and I still love the perch pot.
See you next month when I share all my next firsts!
