Dolce is doing well in public areas. We have gone to a mall, grocery stores, and pet stores. He has been with three sitters and has been introduced to a pub, transit, and going to work. He does very well in his kennel and can have two naps/day up to two hours. During one nap, I went out and ran errands with no issues. I was gone for about an hour.
He is still teething and spends a great deal of time in his x pen as he can chew furniture and baseboards. I have provided kong chew toys, bones and kongs for him. Dolce is very motivated and gets bored quickly. He will often do something to grab my attention when he is not in the pen, i.e., chewing furniture or my feet. I have been using the NICE command. He will steal slippers or running shoes from the closet when given the opportunity. I am ensuring everything is out of reach for him. When I have company over Dolce, he is very chill in his pen. He has come out for some pets and has been very good. He is a very lovely boy who loves to sit at your feet for pets and body rubs. Despite all the puppy stuff, he is a very good boy.
