Hello everyone! I’m back from my puppy swap, with lots of tales to tell. I spent a few weeks living in PADS Windsor’s house and going to work with his raiser. You must now call me Mr. Donner because I became an elementary school teacher! This work experience was great for me to practice important skills, like staying calm and not chasing balls at recess. Some days, I wasn’t able to go to school because the field trips weren’t Donner-friendly, so I got to go to a sitter’s house to train. One day, my new friend PADS Major was there too, so we got to have a photoshoot.
Something strange happened, all of a sudden, people kept thinking that I was a reindeer! How unusual is that! Even my students at school would sing a song all about how I bullied a guy named Rudolph! Luckily, I was able to clear up that I was actually named for a foundation, and not an antlered sleigh-pulling deer. That didn’t stop the people from pointing out every reindeer we saw this month.
It was my first Holiday season, and I enjoyed all the decorations that appeared. My personal favourite was all the trees. I love trees, and am lucky enough to have spent a lot of time running around the forest to decompress and hang out with my friends.
I’ve been keeping up my training, and I really enjoy any chance to get to work. My work ethic is so good that I even offered to Santa that I could cover for reindeer, Donner, when he called in sick on Christmas Eve. Luckily, I could spend the rest of the year sleeping off my big flight.
Happy New Year, and looking forward to checking in with you all in 2026.
