What a month!

I am one year old this month. One of my many Calgary siblings is also here in the lower mainland and to celebrate, my sister Taiga and I had a beach party. We loved it and as you can see from the pics we ran and ran and ran.Β

A small ear infection had my head shaking this month, and I discovered that ear drops come with big rewards! Cookies! Cookies! Cookies! And I’m talking about the good stuff; the little morsels that come out of a special drawer. By the end of the week, I was excited to see the ear-dropper and managed without squirming, not even a little bit!Β

We had a big snowstorm on the lower mainland, and I was belly-deep in snow. I buried my head in the snow and came up with a snort over and over again.

Milestone Moments:

Finally, I began to settle in public! First, three minutes at a coffee shop. And at the end of the month, a 45-minute lunch followed by another hour or so wandering in and out of shops. I’d like to keep the streak going, but I make no guarantees at this age. I’m distractible, and when messy humans drop crumbs on the floor, I’m not yet able to curb my enthusiasm.

I’m beginning to show signs of maturity. And some days I make excellent decisions!Β

And on that happy note, I’m signing off until next month.

Thanks for reading.Β

Β Love, Dune
