Hey Everyone – it’s PADS puppy Dylan II here!!Β
Okay, so I never thought I would say this, but . . . I think I am ready for summer to be over. Or at least the really hot weather. Lucky for me, I think my hooman feels the same way, which is why we have been getting up really early for long morning walks and have been saving our training time until late in the evening. In between, I mostly sleep.Β
We’ve been doing a lot of work on my “greetings” for the last while. I try my best not to jump on people when I meet them, but sometimes hoomans are so happy to see me that I get really excited to see them. So we’re working on me staying calm and keeping “four on the floor.”Β
But it’s not all work. My hooman took me to the Pet Expo in Delta, and I had a chance to meet lots of other dogs and PADS pups. It was so much fun. And for the last couple of weeks, I have been with some amazing sitters in Hope while my main hooman has been on holiday. They’ve been amazing people to stay with. I really like that they put ice in my water bowl to help cool me down. And I think their cat Jasper is starting to like me too.Β
I’m pretty sure my hooman will be back soon, though. It’ll be hard to stay calm and not jump when I see him, but I’ll try my best!!Β
