Wow, was August ever hot. I loved staying inside where it was cool. Sleeping on my back on the floor was one of my favorite ways to beat the heat! We are practicing skills learned in the trainer’s toolkit, like loose-leash walking and behaving politely around other dogs. My raiser also makes me do a lot of puppy pushups before eating my meals. She chooses different things to do every time: “sit”, “down”, “touch”, “perch”… whatever suits her fancy. Me, all I want is the food, so I do what I must to get it.
