I officially turned a year old at the beginning of July. My raiser went on vacation, so I spent a lot of the month with my favorite sitters, Michelle and Eugene. They take me on a lot of neighbourhood walks and practice the skills the humans are learning in the trainers toolkit (puppy raising lessons). They also took me on a trip to Vancouver Island where I got to try kayaking for the first time. It was a little scary at first, but I settled down and enjoyed it.
