You guys! I had my first Christmas and it was very exciting. My mama Roma stayed with us for the howlidays and we played lots. She taught me how to open presents and helped me learn not to eat the wrapping paper… that is a work in progress.

We went to the PADS woofmas party and I got to hang with my big (half) brother Hero. He’s in advanced training and is very smart and calm.

We had a live tree in the house that smelled delicious but even though trees are made of sticks I didn’t try to eat it even once. I did take one of the ornaments off the tree but that was just to snuggle and not to snack on.

I learned about a thing called a dreidel, which I might have tried to catch but my raisers helped me stay calm and practice my down duration while it was spinning.

I stayed with a sitter at the beginning of the month and I got to go to new places and show how much better I am getting at settling in public.

We went on lots of off-leash trail walks with my mama and together we showed off our sit duration in the trails while other dogs were around. Sometimes I even had to practice being on-leash because the trails are very distracting and I still have to have a “loose-leash” no matter what.

I am really learning a lot and December was the funnest month yet.

See you in the new year.
