This month,Β EmpressΒ has continued to hone her skills and gain new experiences in preparation for placement. Highlights include skills practice at Lougheed Mall with fellow advanced dogs Daegan and Norquay, visiting what surely seemed like every garden centre in Vancouver, and Empressβ first flight! Empress was a star on the whirlwind trip to Calgary and back, and we can now be confident in her flying with her client. While regularly practicing all skills, Empress has particularly been focusing on her interrupters and calm human and canine greetings. Sheβs also managed to sneak in her fair share of social outings, family reunions, and relaxation.Β
