New experience of the day – balls raining into the pen (they are the really light, ball pit ones).
This is Classical (or Pavlovian) Conditioning in action – a stimulus (the balls dropping) – with food added after a pause, so the puppies develop a positive association to unexpected things happening.
As youโll notice from the video, the puppies still have no fear, so it continues to be a great time to socialize the puppies without fear of them developing a negative response.
