Day 33
As we expose the puppies to novelty, we strive to get them used to different surfaces, sights, sounds and handling. Sometimes the puppies interact with items as we expect, and other times they find a completely different way to interact.
Iโd kept these wine bottle packing inserts as a different surface for them to practice walking on to build back end strength and awareness, but the puppies seem more intent on trying to eat them. Weโll continue to supervise them to ensure they canโt chew anything off of them, but as long as itโs a safe experience itโs a good one. Hopefully they also walk on them before the day is done (if they donโt on their own, weโll probably place them between the puppies and their lunch).
