Hi, Everyone!

Did I blink?! Is my second-ever Christmas already over?! O, well. It sure was merry & bright while it lasted and full of chances to practice my PADS skills amid the hustle & bustle and general splendor. Nothing beats the Festive Season for staging distractions and testing durations! But, for me, the holidays also called for a bit of downtime. And there’s nothing as sweet as curling up at home over the holidays.

Many thanks to the Vancouver SPCA for their expert care on Christmas Eve, Eve! You sure set me up for a speedy recovery. I was chipper, again, in no time and able to make a few gift deliveries with my cool Gnome Bag (that Rel. PADS Blake gave me with a super funny gift inside, ha!) And huge thanks, too, to Special PADS Friend, Benita, whose brilliant gift – a SOCCER BALL STUFFIE! – was my Comfort & Joy during recovery and beyond. O! And to Tessa the Spaniel and her Baby Brother Pippin for the beautiful card! And to Sponsor Extraordinaire Lady Caroline for checking in on me every day. And to PADS Medical, Kaylie, for keeping me on her radar over Christmas… PADS life truly is about Community, and I’m so lucky to be a part.

Thanks so much for checking in on me! Well, January means getting back to class and refreshing my goals with the future in mind. I’ll let you know what that looks like as things unfold. Until then, embrace your Community and let it embrace you!
