Finch and I met on October 11th for the first time! It has not been a month yet, but we are slowly getting our paws and feet at the same pace. Finch has not been to many public places yet as we are still adjusting to each other, she did fantastic at regular church days. π Everyone asks “Is Finch going to be a guide dog?” and I would explain what paths are there for Finch to pick, they all say “I never knew there were so many ways for dogs to help!”Β
Finch definitely has been a great influence, and almost already doing the role of the facility dog during our youth groups. Finch’s presence has been a blessing to all of us!
Finch was very new to the “rain-couver” weather, so she was at first reluctant to go out in the rain. We got her a new raincoat and after a few fun times in the rain, she does not hate the rain so much. π
