FISCHER has had a busy month working with his advanced sitters! He has been to Whistler for 5 days, walking around the village, doing a great job of ignoring other dogs and practicing his strong, loose leash walking. He also got practice going into restaurants and coffee shops. Sometimes ignoring food under tables can be tricky, and Fischer is working hard at settling with temptation nearby. To keep the work/play balance, he also had daily walks and off-leash time on the snowy trails! This month, Fischer has found that he does much better at longer settling in places like movie theatres and long lunches with a long walk beforehand. He has also been practicing interrupter skills with his advanced sitters and is working on building more duration with “my lap.” Great work all!
