This month Fraser III had the opportunity to fly out to Kelowna to celebrate last year’s graduate teams! He was such a fabulous traveller and got so many compliments on his lovely disposition and manners. Even though he weighs over 80 lbs, he is able to squeeze himself into some very tight spaces! Fraser has been spending lots of time around the wheelchair this month, fine-tuning his skills before pre-placement testing. He is also learning how to generalize his button cue to various different types of buttons. Fraser has settled into his mobility service dog role and is enjoying all that the job entails.

  • Skills being Learned: Retrieving, button, opening/closing doors, movement skills around a wheelchair, get your leash, carrying items
  • Recent Field Trips: Edmonton airport, Kelowna airport, Kelowna golf club, Pet Valu, West
  • Possible Behaviour Challenges: Body sensitivity, motivated by other dogs
  • Advanced Training Location: Calgary

We’re so grateful for your support of Advanced Dog Fraser III!
