French, ever the character with lots of enthusiasm, is coming along nicely. He has all his pre-requisite service dog skills and has started working on client-specific skills. He can get a little too excited when working for treats and has to slow down to differentiate what words the trainer is actually using instead of just guessing and offering. Although he has this activation of excitement and arousal in University, we know it will level out to be a nice level when life slows down for him and he is placed with his client.
