August has been another fantastic and exciting month for me and Furrow. He turned 17 months old on August 9th, 2025, and continues to be an amazing dog and makes me proud of him everyday.
Furrow has become an expert swimmer. He prefers the fresh water at the creeks and lakes. I take him on frequent hikes where he enjoys exploring nature, jumping over logs, and cooling off at the creeks. We hiked to Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, where Furrow enjoyed crossing the bridge. He showed no fear of the height or the swaying bridge. He was braver than I. Once across, we hiked down with his canine friend to the creek to cool off and refresh ourselves. I even went in for a swim on that hot summer day.

The 3rd photo shows Furrow patiently waiting for me in an aisle at the grocery store while I select items off the shelf.
The 4th photo shows Furrow perched on a log at an off-leash trail where we frequently go for hikes.
The 5th photo shows Furrow swimming in Lynn Canyon Creek with his canine friend. All you can see is Furrow’s black head. He looks like a seal!
